I think when you get to the point where your country has had “the worst mass shooting in this country’s history” two years in a row…that means something needs to be fucking done. It’s just pathetic that we’ve even let it get this far, and I hold out absolutely no hope that things will change because if a bunch of dead kids at an elementary school didn’t make an impact on these people then god knows this won’t either.
